Welcome to the Games Department (07) of the Dr. Strange Archive.  The Games Department collects anything that could be attributed to a game.  This covers a lot of ground ranging from roleplaying games to board games to tabletop miniature games, etc.

To better organize the collection, this section is broken down into several subcategories.  They are listed below.

‍HeroClix is a collectibles miniatures game that uses the Clix system using dials for stats.  It has figures, cards and sets from many different IPs such as Marvel and DC.  The game was originally produced by WizKids in 2002.

‍HeroClix can appear to a wide variety of collectors even if they do not play the game.  They are miniature figures, they come with cards that appeal to some trading card collectors and it is a tabletop game.        Click Here!

‍Role-playing games, as we know them today, began with the release of the first three Dungeons & Dragons (D&D) Booklets in 1974.  Dr. Strange has a very early association with D&D. Some of the very first illustrations  created for the game, by Greg Bell, were inspired by a Dr. Strange story in Strange Tales 167 called “This Dream…This Doom”.

‍In 1984 TSR published the first Marvel Super Heroes Role-playing Game  and in 2023 the newest Marvel role-playing game was released.  Dr. Strange has appeared in all versions.        Click Here!
